What is the warranty on Navarro canoes?
All Navarro canoes come with a five year warranty against workmanship and material defects. If you have a question about your warranty, please contact us.
How should I store my Navarro canoe?
To maintain the appearance and performance of your Navarro canoe, you should store your canoe upside down, out of direct sunlight and preferably covered.
How should I transport my Navarro canoe on my car or truck?
When transporting your canoe, use foam blocks and straps to secure the canoe and protect both the canoe and your vehicle from scratches. Foam block, straps and gunwale clamps are available at local sporting good stores or outdoor retailers.
How should I clean my Navarro canoe?
Washing your canoe with a gentle soap and water is recommended. Be sure you do not use cleaners with abrasives that may scratch and damage your canoe.
How do I make repairs to my Navarro canoe?
For fiberglass and gel-coat repairs, we recommend you visit a local boat or canoe dealer for service or contact your local retailer to purchase the materials for self application.
For wooden part replacements, we recommend you use a local woodworking shop or
cabinet shop and use either Ash or Mahogany wood for replacement. Wooden canoe accessories, such as seats, yokes and motor mounts can be purchased on our accessories page.
Can I put a motor on my Navarro canoe? What size?
All Navarro canoes can be used with a motor. We suggest using a motor mount (see accessories) with an electric trolling motor of
around 55 pounds of thrust.
Do you have replacement seats or yokes?
Yes, replacement seats, center yoke seats and yokes are available for purchase on the accessories page.
I tried to register my canoe and was told I needed a MSO?
An MSO Is a Manufactures Statement of Origin and acts like a title to the canoe.
Sales tax will need to be paid in the state in which you register your
canoe.
